Lead Field Technician
Schedule: Four-day workweek (Monday–Thursday or Tuesday–Friday) One Friday morning per month for staff meetings and professional development
Compensation: $26–$32/hour (based on experience) + performance bonuses

🔨 Position Overview
As a Lead Field Technician, you’ll lead small teams of 1–3 technicians at residential job sites across the Twin Cities. You’ll ensure quality workmanship, communicate clearly with clients and team members, and collaborate closely with the Field Manager to keep projects running smoothly.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead day-to-day operations on job sites for window restoration projects, including sash cord repair, weatherstripping installation, sash removal and installation, re-glazing, glass repair, and light carpentry.
- Provide mentorship, training, and direction to entry-level and mid-level technicians.
- Serve as the on-site point of contact for homeowners and clients.
- Manage jobsite organization, timelines, and safety.
- Perform skilled restoration tasks such as epoxy repair, paint removal, reglazing, and reinstallation.
- Coordinate with the Field Manager to align daily progress with project goals.
✅ What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of leadership experience in carpentry, painting, window restoration, or a related trade.
- Prior experience leading or mentoring team members on job sites.
- Excellent communication skills, both with clients and coworkers.
- A commitment to quality, efficiency, and problem-solving.
- Strong work ethic, ability to problem-solve, and reliability.
- Comfortable working on ladders, using tools, and performing physical work.
- Familiarity with historic homes or preservation work is a plus.
- Requirement to follow (and lead others in) RRP lead-safe practices (training provided).
💪 Physical Requirements
- Lift and carry up to 55 lbs for 50 feet.
- Climb ladders up to 25 feet.
- Stand, bend, and perform manual tasks for 8–10 hour workdays.
- Work safely and comfortably with paints, putty, epoxy, and restoration tools.
- Work outdoors in various weather conditions.

- Hourly pay: $26–$32/hour, based on experience
- Performance bonuses for productivity, quality, and values alignment
- Paid Time Off/Sick Days: Accrual rate starting at 3 weeks for the first year, increasing to 4 weeks after the first year.
