Window Restoration Technician – Field

Location: Minneapolis/Saint Paul Metro Area
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 7:45 AM–4:45 PM; One Friday per month for staff meetings and professional development
Compensation: $23-28/hour (based on experience) + performance bonuses up to $4,000 annually

🔧 Position Overview

As a Field Technician, you’ll play a crucial role in our restoration projects. Your responsibilities will include:

• Restoring historic windows on residential project sites: Performing repair, restoration, and weatherstripping installation at residential job sites and occasionally in our shop.
  
• Collaborating with a small team: Working closely with colleagues to ensure high-quality results and continuous learning.
  
• Participating in comprehensive training: Gaining skills in all areas of window restoration through hands-on experience.

🏋️ Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and manipulate objects of up to 55 lbs for 50 feet.
  
• Ability to work on your feet throughout the day.
  
• Ability to climb ladders up to 25 feet in height.
  
• Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, lumber, and materials.
  
• Ability to perform all window restoration tasks on jobsite and in shop.

• Competitive pay: $23-28/hour, depending on experience.

• Paid Time Off/Sick Days: Accrual rate starting at 3 weeks for first year, increasing to 4 weeks after first year.
